Herron Preparatory Academy

Transforming a 1960s office building into a thriving K–8 learning environment was no small task. We reconfigured interiors into classrooms, dining areas, and collaboration spaces—supporting a classical liberal arts curriculum for a diverse student body.

Next came a major addition: labs, art and music rooms, a gym, and outdoor learning spaces—all designed with the surrounding neighborhood and Children’s Museum in mind.
